Malvene is a long time member of BMWMOAL and has served in the past as Director of Photography. She has attended all but one of the Rocket City (Chicken) Rallies, and has served in many functions there but is probably best known for her contribution to food preparation and cleanup. Her outgoing personality and gregarious laughter has certainly been an encouragement to others that also toil over those tasks. She took the Motorcycle Foundation Safety course in 1984 and rode her own bike occasionally, but later decided she preferred riding as a passenger so she can, in her words, “take in the sights without having to concentrate on driving”. Malvene has been an asset for the club and a constant source of inspiration and encouragement for many club members. If you don’t know her and would to meet her, just listen at any meeting for a group of girls laughing their heads off and you can bet she is telling one of her colorful stories.
