Picnic and Swap meet Oak Mountain – September 2020

Come join us for a free BBQ picnic lunch while selling your no longer needed farkles and gear or search for that piece of riding gear that you just have to have. we will gather at the “lakeside pavilion” from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm with lunch served at 1:00. The “lakeside pavilion” is just past the beach on the swimming lake.

Since you are going to visit Oak Mountain State Park, bring your mountain bike (not your dirt bike) or horse and enjoy the many miles of trails, or bring your clubs and play a round. Visit the wildlife and raptor rescue center and see hawks, eagles and owls up close and personal. Rent a canoe or paddle boat and tour the swimming lake.

There is RV and tent camping in the park. Make your own reservations. There are also 5 – 6 motels 5 mi away in Pelham at I65 and hwy 119.
